Songs and Saddles
It’s about a travelling musician who comes back to help his foster father and ends up tryin’ to stop a crooked schemer from tricking an honest rancher out of his land – land that just happens to be right where a new highway is planned. Along the way he sings songs, plays piano and faces down bad guys in true cowboy fashion. The cast includes Gene Austin, Lynne Berkeley and Henry Roquemore. It was directed by Harry L. Fraser and is a mix of music and Western adventure, all wrapped up in about an hour of black‑and‑white action.
